The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) effective 25th of May 2018, grants data subjects (individuals) the authority to access and manage their personal data held by businesses.

Right to restrict or stop processing – in certain circumstances, you can ask us to restrict or stop our use of your personal data
Right to data portability – you can ask us to provide you with a copy of your personal data in a commonly used electronic format, so that you can transfer it to other businesses
Right to object to processing – you may ask us to immediately stop processing your data held for the purposes of direct marketing
Right to object to automated decision-making – in certain circumstances, you can ask us not to make automated decisions about you based on your personal data that produce significant legal effects
